Reusable Cutlery: Take It Everywhere You Go!

Hey Guys! I hope everyone is having a great week so far. It’s almost weekend so just hang in there! This week’s article is a short one, and it’s all about reusable cutlery. Again, if you are not in the mood for reading, pop over to my Youtube channel, Greenish Natural Living, where I will be talking about reusable cutlery.

Let’s get started!

What is Reusable Cutlery?

Reusable cutlery are spoons, knives and forks that you can put in your bag when going camping, hiking or just going out for the day.

Why Is This A Brilliant Idea?

What makes this such a brilliant idea is that, when you get food, you eliminate the need for that plastic knife and fork because you already have your own. And you won’t throw them away after using it once because there is no need to. But, if you do decide to throw it away, you can do so with peace of mind because they are biodegradable – which is awesome!

By doing this you are limiting the amount of extra waste added to the planet. Now I’m not saying you should run out and buy bamboo cutlery for every occasion. If you have plastic or metal knives and forks at home, use those! Luckily for me, I have my own set and I take it with me everywhere. So cool!

One thing I have noticed is that the take-away companies provide their customers with these flimsy knives and forks. I have like a whole drawer full of them. Instead of throwing them away, find a different use for them – that is, if you can’t refuse them in the first place. When you do go out with family or friends, grab a handful and offer it to your friends or family instead of having them use plastic cutlery. By doing this you can encourage people to be less wasteful.

That’s it from me for now. Don’t forget to tune into my Youtube channel, Greenish Natural Living, where I will be talking about reusable cutlery.

Before I end, I have a question for everyone reading today. Would you carry your own spoon and fork to help solve the plastic crisis?

I would love to hear your answers, comments and any questions. Share them in the comments below or tag me on Facebook or Instagram.

Until next time. Happy Greenish Living!
